This is the plan for the first floor. I’ll start with the front verandah/balcony and then show each room in a clockwise manner.
Front verandah 10.8 x 4 m
Looking to the west. There is a hospital diagonally across the intersection and Victoria Park is opposite the hospital.
This is looking to the East showing the french doors opening onto the verandah and the bathroom.
Some of the streetscape. The main street through Goulburn is 3 blocks down that road.
Bathroom on the Front verandah
This has a bath with shower to the left side as well as the toilet and hand basin.
Bedroom 3 x 4.6 m
This bedroom has a set of French doors that opens onto the balcony.
Kitchen 3.4 x 2.8 m
Sink area and power point. One of the things we plan on doing right after the roof is fixed is to have the electric system upgraded. More power points all around. I think there may be a room or three that may not have any power points although all rooms have electric lights.
A cooker and another cupboard. Above is a skylight. The plants are all plastic.
An interesting mirror with an odd table in it. as part of a kitchen it seems very weird.
Showing the skylight with more plastic plants and the single worse ceiling damage from water.
A better shot of the damage showing the plaster and lathe construction. Once the roof is water tight this can be fixed.
Bedroom 3.8 x 4.4 m
Bedroom with fireplace. Or Living room with fireplace.
Some water damage on this ceiling too.
Second Kitchen for this floor. 4.4 x 3.4 m
This kitchen is larger than the previous one although plainer in appearance.
This window opens out into the sunroom.
Second Bathroom for this floor. 1.9 x 1.6 m
This is the most modern looking bathroom in the house.
More of the plastic plant. I think the stain glass is original. I’m less certain of the door.
Rear Verandah. 4 x 1.6 m
Looking out of the sunroom and across the rear verandah.
Bedroom 3.7 x 3.5 m
Odd shape in the wall appears similar to one in the second kitchen.
Bedroom 3.7 x 4 m
Bedroom with fireplace.
Living Room 4 x 6.2 m
This room has two sets of doors that open out onto the front verandah.
And a lot of mirrors. Probably for disco dancing.
